Hosted by actress and comedian Caroline Rhea (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Caroline Rhea Show, voice of Linda Flynn on Phineas and Ferb), the 26th Annual Gala will honor JCPenney, Levi’s Brand, and Delta Children’s Products for their philanthropic efforts.
JCPenney will be recognized for supporting the after school cause through its signature charity, JCPenney After School. Steven Lawrence, executive vice president and general merchandise manager, will accept on behalf of the company.
Levi’s Brand will be awarded for its commitment to those in need, which includes more than 50 years of promoting worker’s rights, the fight against HIV/AIDS, and protecting poor families and marginalized individuals. Becca Van Dyck, chief marketing officer, will accept on behalf of Levi’s.
Delta Children’s Products will be honored for its commitment to children and families in need, including its extensive support of the Safe Sleep Campaign, in which the company has donated thousands of cribs to the national First Candle/K.I.D.S. program, in an effort to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (S.I.D.S.). Joe Shamie, co-president, will represent the company.
Presenters will include Mike Ulman III, executive chairman of J.C. Penney Company, Inc.; Andrew Bevan, editor of Teen Vogue; and Jerry Storch, chairman and CEO of Toys “R” Us. Inc.
